As you may have noticed, the next chapter of Mother Of Tentacles has been delayed by one day. This decision was made to finalize a very important scene that would otherwise be rushed without the extra time, and I would much rather take one more day to get it right instead.
So far, I’ve written updates for every delay, no matter how small, even if they simply include information similar to the paragraph above. I will happily continue to do so if that is the preference of readers, though I can see how these small and somewhat repetitive posts can become tiresome over time. Therefore, I have a question:
Perhaps you could streamline the smaller notices further? (e.g. a delay notice attached to your update schedule).
Interesting, attached how? So far I’ve been linking the delay update posts directly in the release schedule on the homepage, though I’m certainly open to better alternatives.
