Born in The City of Ishtai in the year 5 AVE, Darida was a member of Clan Chalvarrus. In the year 19 AVE, she was granted an opportunity to become an assistant to Vesh, a close ally of Potentate Varse of Clan Chalvarrus.

Darida was one of many Dril girls employed by Vesh and trusted to keep his secrets. As a retired member of the hidden Agents of Shai, Vesh owned a large building in Ishtai that secretly served as a training hall. He both trained new agents to serve The Shai Domain, and trained the most promising children kidnapped or bred for The Potentate’s secret army of Vaidspawn.

Many of the Dril girls Vesh employed as assistants eventually earned his attention if they were intelligent or naturally skilled with a blade, receiving the honor of becoming one of his apprentices to be trained as potential agents. Darida never showed such talent. Ever a simple-minded girl, she was among the few that earned her share of his hospitality by simply cleaning and maintaining the training hall.

Potentate Varse visited the training hall annually to assess the progress of his secret army of Vaidspawns. During such visits, encountering the man in passing during her duties, she grew to respect him deeply as the ruler of her people.

After reaching maturity, Darida’s service to Vesh adopted an intimate nature. Like many of the other pretty assistants residing in the training hall, she was invited into Vesh’s bed. She swiftly grew accustomed to serving him with her body, eagerly finding her own enjoyment. Naturally, she fell pregnant with his daughter in the year 22 AVE.

During the early stage of Darida’s pregnancy, Potentate Varse visited the training hall. During his stay, on the 1st of Iahta, a message arrived for his eyes only. After bringing him the message, Darida saw that whatever hidden news it held upset him. As her bond with Vesh was merely transactional, for the old Dril cared little what she did so long as her activities did not endanger the secret of the training hall or interfere with her duties, she offered to wait for The Potentate in his quarters to ease his foul mood with her body.

Eager to enjoy a moment of passion with a man she respected, she made love to The Potentate.

Petite and slender, Darida had a small, nimble body. Her dark hair was long with the front cut short to cover her forehead. Simple-minded, her beautiful red eyes offered a lazy, sluggish gaze. Half of her body was decorated in the black tattoos of Clan Chalvarrus.

She typically wore a short traditional Dril dress of black silk.

A simple-minded girl, she held few thoughts larger than her own immediate needs. With no worries in her head, her demeanor was calm and smooth. She typically offered those around her a lazy and content smile.

Though she held no ambitions, no large thoughts, she was not a fool. She was well-spoken, and knew just enough about the world around her to hold deep respect for those she believed deserved it, such as Potentate Varse.
