Personality

A committed traditionalist, Varse held to the ancient values that founded The Shai Domain, even when it placed his life in danger. Though sometimes considered naïve in regards to his fellow Dril, expecting them to share his own values, Varse dedicated his life to upholding the freedoms of his species and eradicating corruption. He sought to maintain a free and rational society for his people.

He endured a life in politics, despite desiring the simple life of a Tsrisu farmer. He denied himself the peaceful existence he so often dreamed of, believing his duty to his people outweighed his own personal desires.

A humorless man, Varse was often blunt with those around him, caring little if others disliked him.

Skills

Varse was a cunning and intelligent Dril. Although the beginning of his reign saw him making many political mistakes that granted him numerous enemies, his skill in intrigue slowly grew as he learned to outmaneuver his fellow Representatives and the rulers of outside nations.

Like most Dril, Varse was granted basic self-defense training during his youth.
